The design of the Bonalba Golf Resort is well balanced, with five large lakes impacting on seven holes, plus plenty of perfectly placed bunkers to keep you on your toes from the moment you tee off. The front nine holes are considered to be more technical in the drive, with short-play greens to help you hit par, while on the back nine, specifically holes 12 to 18, your driver will be key to keeping you on the fairway. On this course, the fairways are generous, wide, and dense with Bermuda grass, with winter re-sowings of rye grass, while the greens are pencross bentgrass and the fringes seaside creeping bentgrass, all perfectly suited to the local climate.
