It is formed by two coves located next to the Bancal de la Arena, where we can find the third Center for Marine Research in Spain called CIMAR.
The waters of these coves are located in what is called a L.I.C, Lugar de Interés Comunitario (Place of Community Interest) and they are suitable for the practice of snorkel.
Towards Arenales del Sol, in the same rocky shore, lie the remains of a medieval quarry, whose perfect cuts in the stone that form rectangles were used to finish the building of the Fortaleza de la isla de Tabarca.
