The life and history of the municipality of Aigües is
linked to the existence of water deposits with medicinal properties, and to the
building of a spa in the 19th century, where the aristocrats of the district
went to have baths.
The other image of the town offers a large pine forest
located in Cabeço d'Or, with long paths full of stone benches and viewpoints.
In this place we can find the old fountain of the Cogolla with its viewpoint,
from which you can see much of the coast of Alicante.
Another icon of the population is its Christian tower
located in the urban area. Its economy currently revolves around indoor tourist
activities and services.
