The landscape of Almudaina, crowned by a hill next to
Sierra de Almudaina and surrounded by almond and cherry trees, is
characteristic of Alicante Mountains. The Moorish origin of the locality is
expressed in the name of Almudaina. In the middle of the urban area there is an
Arabic tower. Almudaina is small and quiet and its main economic activity is
the agriculture, especially the production of cherries.
