Aspe

This town can be immediately recognized by the extensive cultivated areas with their characteristic vineyards, whose bunches are covered by white paper bags.

This product has its own Designation of Origin certification; it is harvest between November and January each year.

The old town has been renovated and turned into pedestrian areas. You can start a walk in the curious Plaza del Ayuntamiento where you can find the Church and a Modernist Casino.

Nowadays it stills being an important communications hub connecting the Vinalopó valley with Vega Baja del Segura in the south, and the Meseta Castellana in the north.

Its patron festivities are celebrated the even-numbered years, because they share the devotion and the image of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves with the Hondón de las Nieves.
