Beniardá is a small town located between the reservoir
with the same name and Sierras de Xortá y Serrella. Although it is located in
the Marina district, Beniardá is a typical agricultural town of the mountains
of Alicante with Arabic reminiscences in its urban structure. There are remains
of Arab foundations in a house of Calle de la Torre. Its economy is typically
agricultural with rainfed and fruit production.
