It is one of the most recondite towns in the province
of Alicante. It is located next to the Xaló/Gorgos River’s course, when it is
channeled between Sierra del Cavall Verd and Carrascal de Parcent. This town of
Valle del Pop presents the typical agriculture of that area: vineyards, orange
trees and old rius-raus where raisin was dried and then shipped by Dénia to all
Europe. It is a flat land village, located at the foot of Sierra del Cavall
Verd, and mainly dedicated to the citrus agriculture.
