We will find an inland village limited by Sierra Cortina, the Puig Campana and Sierra de Orxeta; which has an extension along the coast in which there is a beach and a tourist area in the so-called Cala, shared with Benidorm and Villajoyosa.

Historically it has been a place where defend the coastline from the presence of pirates by means of the watchtowers built in it.
