Onil is a municipality of industrial character, and well known for being the first national production center of dolls, including the firm "Famosa" one of the most recognized in this sector. Although it is also important for the production of olives called "cuquello" and its pure refined olive oil.
Monumentally, it is remarkable the Renaissance Gothic style building whose origin was the Palace of the Marqués of Dos Aguas. The old ducal chapel that now is the Parochial Church, presided by a fifteenth century altarpiece.
In the Baptistery Chapel there is a fresco by Eusebio Sempere, born in Onil.
We also highlight the Chapel of el Nostre Senyor Robat, Convent and House of the Cardinal Payá.
