The municipality of La Vall de Laguar includes the towns of Benimaurell, Campell and Fleix, where the Town Hall building is located. None of them has more than 400 inhabitants and their main economic activity is the agriculture, especially the cultivation of cherries (with designation of origin), olive trees, figs, and almonds. La Vall de Laguar was the result of the Moorish mutiny that took place in 1609 against his expulsion order. The three towns are located in the confluence of Sierra del Cavall Verd or the Peñón, the one of the Carrasca and the Mediodía. Coming from Orba from where we access to the valley, we find Campell in the first place, then Fleix and finally, Benimaurell, where the road ends.
